    Who can enroll at Yamei Academy?

    Yamei Academy opens to students from grade 6 to 12. Students can come from any country, anywhere in the world.

    How do I take classes at Yamei Academy?

    Yamei Academy uses the Edmentum online platform. Students will get his/her own account, and once logged in, students can start classes anytime, anywhere.

    How do I join activities at Yamei Academy?

    Yamei Academy offers many online and offline physical activities throughout the school year for students to join — for example, online research projects, summer camp, sports competitions, and more.

    Do I get any support?

    Yes! Yamei Academy cares about our students and parents. We offer student counseling and parent workshops throughout the year to guide students' education.

    Does Yamei Academy offer financial aid?

    Yes! Please contact our admissions counselors for financial aid and scholarship opportunities. We will try our best to help you.

    How many hours do I need to log in to my class?

    You can log in to your class on your own schedule. However, due to the course load, we suggest that you log into your classes daily. Our full-time students usually spend about 4 hours a day.

    How do I take exams?

    You can take exams in the system. Once you submit your answers, the system will automatically grade your answers.

    How is the class graded?

    Class grade consists of reading, discussion, activities, homework, and exams. Each class has a syllabus and grading rubric for the teacher to grade.

    When can I enroll in Yamei Academy?

    You can enroll in Yamei Academy three times a year: Fall, Spring, and Summer term. Check our school calendar for more information.

    How many classes can students take at Yamei Academy?

    Full-time students can take up to 7 classes per semester. Summer term is limited to 2 classes.

    Who should I contact if I have questions about the class?

    Students can contact Yamei teachers anytime via the internal messaging (email) system or the official school email.

    How does the instructor actively engage students in the online environment?

    Teachers and instructors are actively engaged through the system messaging and Zoom meetings (office hours). Our full-time students also meet with guidance counselors biweekly.
