Jane Pingping Ye

Clay Target Team — Trap & Skeet Program Head Coach

Jane is a former member of the Chinese National Women's Shooting Team and a National-Level Trap & Skeet athlete with over four decades of experience. She represented China in Asian Championships, National Games, and international invitational competitions, demonstrating excellence at the highest levels of the sport. She served as an official referee at the Guangzhou Asian Games and holds International Shooting Referee certification, giving her deep expertise in competition rules and athlete evaluation. She has participated in U.S. Olympic Development training programs, studying youth athlete development and collegiate shooting pathways. In recent years, she has mentored numerous youth athletes at shooting clubs in the Western United States, helping many advance to national training centers, collegiate shooting teams, and elite competitive programs. Her extensive background as both a competitor and coach makes her uniquely qualified to develop Yamei's clay target team.

Dominic Priestley

Men & Women Basketball Head Coach

Coach Dom made a name for himself at Silverado High, breaking a High Desert basketball record and leading the team to a CIF Division 1AA Championship runner-up finish. His basketball career continued as a team captain at Barstow College, earning him a full scholarship to the University of Jamestown. Yamei Academy partners with PAC Sports Academy to provide academic programs for basketball players in grades 6–12. Coach Dom is dedicated to developing student-athletes who excel both on the court and in the classroom. His playing and coaching experience gives him a deep understanding of what it takes to compete at a high level while maintaining academic focus. He is committed to helping young athletes build character, discipline, and teamwork through basketball.

Niu Liu

Men & Women Basketball Assistant Coach

Niu is a National Level-1 Basketball Athlete who earned multiple provincial and municipal championships in China. She trained with basketball programs at Stanford, UCR, UCI, and UCSD, gaining deep knowledge of the American youth basketball development system. She has led the NBA Los Angeles Clippers Youth Basketball Training Camp and various international exchange programs, building a comprehensive platform that integrates elite training, competitive play, international exposure, and long-term academic and athletic development. Her unique background bridging Chinese and American basketball systems allows her to bring diverse training methodologies to Yamei's program. She is passionate about empowering young athletes to excel on the court while also succeeding in their educational pursuits, preparing them for opportunities at the collegiate level and beyond.

Deliang Li

Swimming & Diving Team Head Coach

Deliang is a former member of the Chinese National Diving Team and an Olympic bronze medalist, FINA Diving World Cup champion, and World University Games champion, competing at the highest levels of international diving. Since moving to the U.S. in 1999, he has coached at the college and high school levels and founded a diving club, gaining extensive experience in the American sports education system. He founded Max Sports Education to help student-athletes balance athletic and academic achievement, and has helped nearly 100 student-athletes gain admission to highly selective universities. As a father, he personally guided both daughters to Ivy League universities—Princeton and UPenn. His unique combination of world-class athletic achievement, coaching experience, and proven success in college admissions makes him an invaluable mentor for Yamei's swimming and diving student-athletes.
